Start your day with the thrill of an early morning adventure as we pick you up
from your hotel or residence in Nairobi just after sunrise. This is the perfect time
to experience the wild as nature awakens — when animals are most active and

We drive directly to Nairobi National Park, located just a short distance from the
bustling city center. This iconic park is a rare gem — the only national park in the
world set within a capital city. Despite its proximity to urban life, the park is home
to an impressive variety of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras,
buffaloes, ostriches, and over 400 bird species.
As you enter the park, you'll feel as though you’ve been transported into the
African savannah, with the dramatic skyline of Nairobi creating a surreal contrast
in the background. The crisp morning air, combined with the calls of the wild and
Breathtaking scenery makes this an unforgettable start to your day.

11:30 AM – David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Elephant Orphanage)

After completing your game drive in Nairobi National Park, the journey continues
just a few minutes away is the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust a world-renowned
elephant rescue and rehabilitation center located at the edge of the park.
Founded in memory of renowned naturalist David Sheldrick, this sanctuary is a
cornerstone of Kenya’s wildlife conservation efforts. It focuses primarily on the
rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned baby elephants whose mothers have been
lost due to poaching, human-wildlife conflict, or natural causes.


What to Expect:

The public visiting hour is from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, where you'll see the
adorable baby elephants during their mud bath and feeding time.

Learn about the rescue stories of each elephant and how they are
rehabilitated and reintroduced to the wild.

Opportunity to adopt an elephant as a symbolic gesture of conservation
support.
Note: It's best to arrive a bit early as the orphanage only opens to the public for
one hour daily.


12:30 PM – Lunch Break (Optional)

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at one of the serene restaurants nearby, such as

Karen Blixen Museum Step into the former home of the legendary Danish author
Karen Blixen, best known for her memoir Out of Africa. Located at the foot of the
Ngong Hills, the museum offers a glimpse into colonial-era Kenya and Blixen’s life
on the coffee farm she once owned. The beautifully preserved house, antique
furnishings, and serene gardens provide an atmospheric journey back in time for
literature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

What to Expect:

1. A guided tour of the colonial farmhouse, beautifully preserved with original
furnishings and decor.

2. Insight into Karen Blixen’s life in Kenya, her coffee farm, and her
relationships with local communities.
3. A walk around the scenic garden and views of the Ngong Hills, immortalized
in her writings.

Haller Park

After lunch you will be taken to the Haller Park. This is not a zoo but a free-roaming animal sanctuary born out of the idea to conserve a bold, vast former cement quarry. There are lots of animals to see, and depending on your excitement, this will last between two and three hours, after which you will be dropped back to your hotel.
